Three Cohort Programmes, One Open-Source Stack
Each programme has defined prerequisites, a set schedule, and project assignments with code review. The three tracks cover different depths — from a first encounter with AI tooling through to a full engineering programme with a capstone report.
Back to HomeHow the Programmes Are Structured
All three programmes follow the same structural logic: cohort start date, scheduled sessions, project assignment submission, written code review, and a defined endpoint with deliverables.
The difference between programmes is scope and depth — not the presence or absence of structure. Each programme states its prerequisites, and we check fit before accepting enrolment.
Cohort-based with shared schedule
Project assignments in every programme
Written code review on all submissions
Open-source tools throughout
Python and AI Tools Onboarding
A five-week onboarding cohort for participants who have written some Python and want to start using the contemporary open-source AI stack as developers. Covers environment setup, working with open models locally and via APIs, two small project assignments, and weekly code review. Includes a small portfolio repository at the end.
- Environment setup for local model execution
- API integration with open models
- Two project assignments with written code review
- Portfolio repository at completion
Programme Sequence
Environment setup, dependency management, and model installation
Running open models locally; understanding inference parameters
API integration patterns; first project assignment + review
Building a small application with the AI stack
Second project assignment, portfolio repository, final code review
Prerequisites
Some experience writing Python: loops, functions, basic data structures. No prior AI library experience required.
Practical AI Engineering Programme
A fourteen-week cohort programme that walks through small-team engineering practice for AI projects — version control, code review habits, working with model serving, evaluation, and reproducibility. Includes three project sprints, written project summaries, and a final capstone in miniature.
- Version control and code review workflows for AI projects
- Model serving infrastructure
- Evaluation methodology and reproducibility
- Three sprints with written summaries + miniature capstone
Programme Arc
Engineering foundations: Git workflows, code review practice, environment management
Model serving, Sprint 1 project assignment + review + written summary
Evaluation and reproducibility, Sprint 2 assignment + review + summary
Sprint 3 + miniature capstone project with written summary
Prerequisites
Comfortable with Python; some exposure to working with AI libraries or tools. Onboarding programme alumni or equivalent background.
Full Developer Programme
A thirty-two week part-time programme covering the modern open-source AI development stack — model serving, transformer-based architectures, retrieval-augmented systems, evaluation, and small-team engineering practices. Includes four large project sprints, code review on each, and a final capstone project with a written technical report. The programme documents what students build; it does not promise employment outcomes.
- Transformer-based architectures and model serving
- Retrieval-augmented generation systems
- Evaluation, reproducibility, small-team practices
- Four large project sprints + written technical capstone report
Programme Blocks
Weeks 1–8: Open-source AI stack fundamentals; model serving; Sprint 1
Weeks 9–16: Transformer architectures; fine-tuning basics; Sprint 2

Across All Programmes
Data Privacy
Participant data is not shared with third parties for advertising or marketing.
Specific Feedback
Code review refers to specific lines and decisions in the submitted code — not generic comments.
Clear Scope
Each programme's scope is stated clearly before enrolment. We do not oversell what any cohort covers.
